Finding Your People: The Unexpected Magic of Masterminds
What a great episode I got to record with Amanda Howell. I have known her for 6 or so years now and met her at Flip Hacking Live (7 Figure Flipping Mastermind) when we spoke on stage on a panel together. I wrote down so many good things during this recording. I couldn't write fast enough actually! Amanda is a power house and doesn't take no for an answer. She is the queen of pivoting and out working the next real estate investor in so many ways. It might be on the long side (I swear I am working on making this a bit shorter) but you will not regret listening. She drops little nuggets of great all over the episode.
Quick shout out to how amazing today's guest is. I am in awe whenever I realize how far she has come. Tulsa, OK is 50th for how much they pay their teachers. She was making such a measly salary. She now doesn't have the same money woes. She has built an empire in 10 years and it is incredible. Her mindset has leveled up along with her bank account, friend group and travel schedule!
Just coming off the Memorial Day Weekend holiday! I sure am grateful for the freedom I was born with by being an American. It's inspiring to think so many people put their lives on the line so all of us could feel safe in our homes here in America.
We joined some of Matt's cousins and their families for a cabin weekend on a lake in Northern Minnesota and it was lovely. It always reminds me of how many different types of hosts in the Short Term Rental//Airbnb world there are. We all do it so many different ways and that is the beauty in ALL things, we can all choose a different path and it's no more right or wrong than the next person. What works for one person doesn't have to work for the next. That feels like a great deal of freedom in the world of business!
