What I’ve Learned in a Year of Podcasting (and What’s Next)
Gaaaah! How cool. My podcast is a WHOLE YEAR old. I love that people have tuned in and want to listen to the people in my Tribe that I think are awesome. THANK YOU again.
I have been learning some new things about the world of podcasting and I think I will make some changes or try some new things for the next 12 months of episodes. I would love any feedback from the end of episode 53 where I talk about some of those changes.
One of the things I want to do this year is interview masterminds that people are thinking about joining. I get asked how I decide on a mastermind and the first thing I do is interview them! I ask lots of questions about expectations (both ways), what in person meetings are like, how active the group is, where and how often they meet (in person or zoom), then I ask for references that are "like normal people that have seen results" and THEN I call the references and get their take on the group and if they think it has been worth it. I want to do this for masterminds people are thinking of joining. So if you have any you are considering, let me know and I will secret shop them and record it!
Another episode style i am going to try out is questions. Listeners can send in a question and I will answer it and if i can't answer it or we want more opinions on it, I will record with a few people to bring some options! My favorite part about having peers is that I can ask questions about their businesses and the way they do something, then pick what ways I want to do it and make them my own! So if you have questions, send my way! I am determined to make Tribe Builders awesome for the listeners this year so the time you spend listening is worthwhile!
