Weekend Wisdom + a Killer STR Podcast Episode You Don’t Want to Miss”

What a podcast episode. I can't tell you how excited I am to get to know so many industry experts in Real Estate. Today's episode is so good. I know I literally FLOCK to personalities that are similar to mine, but this girl puts my networking efforts to shame. I don't know a ton of people that I want to shout from the roof tops how hard of a worker they are, how they make things right and how more people should do business like them. Kim is nothing short of an upstanding human and she is super fun to follow along on her journey pin ball'ing around the US setting up short term rentals like the pro she is. Give it a listen and some love!

I hope your fourth was a nice little relaxing weekend with zero trips to the Emergency Room! I got to spend mine with a 7 month old named Sylvester (my nephew). It is so refreshing to be around a soul that seems to be on this earth to make people smile and melt. This little babe has some of the best vibes I have ever felt. I learned a couple lessons through the weekend

- don't cough in people's mouth. It is rude and they don't like it

- be transparent. If you want something, whine or squawk until you get it. Not joking, being transparent makes everyone around you a lot more at ease. So although this was about being hungry or needing a diaper change, it's still an amazing lesson for adults and business ownership. Just be transparent and you will get through whatever you need

- parents are amazing. We don't have kids. We can literally do anything, anytime we want. Parents are simultaneously trying to keep themselves sane, fed and nourished while also trying to ensure the same for a child or children if you are daring enough to have multiples. It is amazing what you people do every day. This weekend was a great lesson in my expectations of moms + dads in my circle that might not respond to things. I can't put into words at how astonishing you humans are that decide to raise kids.

A weekend of lots of lessons in keeping a small child alive and well until his parents got home from camping. It was literally exactly what I needed to check out appropriately. :)

I hope yours was good too! Tell me if you did anything fun or not fun for that matter).
