Why Intention is the Secret Ingredient to Better Results
EEEP! Last week I did an overhaul on my podcast questioning. I put a different kind of intention into them to try and show case my guests in a more aligned way for the Tribe Building brand. I think they are way better. This weeks episode you will start hearing those new questions. I am still working on making them more natural. It's getting better but the next few might be bumbly HA.
I learned the WILDEST thing last week. My coach has a glossary of videos and posts that tie back to certain things a student like me might be looking for. It literally has a thousand or more videos linked, it's wild. I was perusing the list looking for something and I came across one that just said, How about the woo?. Not sure if you know this about me, but meta physical and spiritual woo woo is my JAM. I love that stuff. I love talking about it. I love learning about it. I love all of it. I am discovering my coach is quite a bit more woo woo than I initially thought and I AM HERE FOR IT. So I clicked it solely because it said woo, and it did not disappoint. It was about intention and believing in yourself and the ways in which we can affirm that just because we cant see something, doesn't mean it is not working for us if we put our intention into it. In the video she holds a coin in her hand and puts intention into and talks about how she is a wonder woman and can do anything, then she puts it on hte wall and does more intention around it and removes her hand AND IT STAYS. Totally floored I had to try it. She first time it stuck for maybe 10-20 seconds. I did it a few times with varying degrees of success. I did it the following day with a half day success (I would say it was longer but my niece touched it and it fell ha). But TODAY I did it again (this morning) and it is the end of the day and it is still up there.
Why the hell am I rambling on about this? WELL! It is all about intention. The more intention we put into things, the more we get out of it. Another example is I sat down and wrote a post in a local facebook group for a position we need to fill for our short term rental business. Then I read it and thought, gawd this is generic and sucks. So i rewrote it really thinking about the person I wanted going into our houses and helping with the role I need to fill. Way better post AND we have received about 12 or so messages on the job (which is 10 more than normal).
I think the more we concentrate on our intentions in whatever area we want to accomplish something, the better things turn out.
With that being said, I am working on my intentions with my coaching business and what I want it to look like and what service and results I will provide. Stay tuned this month as I am going to put together an offer and if you know anyone looking for some help once I send it, I would be super grateful for any referrals for clients!
Make a it a good week. YOU GOT THIS!
